Following is the help text in the
DigiPunch-ADP Transfer program.

Before you
transfer your data, you need to set up the program. Setup involves
following three steps:
1. Configuring the transfer procedure
For your convenience, the program lets you export multiple files to ADP. You
can export a file for each division, or a single file for all your
divisions. Run Transfer Configuration to configure the transfer procedure.
Follow the example on the bottom of the form to enter data.
2. Entering ADP company codes and department codes
Very likely, ADP and DigiPunch use different codes. You need to enter the
corresponding codes into the program. Run Company/department entry/edit to
enter codes.
3. ADP uses file numbers for employees’ ID’s. You can use one of the
following two methods to enter file numbers:
3.a. Run Employee Information Entry/Edit to enter file numbers.
3.b. Import employees' file numbers from a file. The import file should be
comma delimited. The format of the import file is described below:
Employee ID used in DigiPunch, File number (CR, LF)
For example:
397824936, 123456
501864431, 112233
You can re-import file numbers after new employees are added into ADP and
DigiPunch systems.
