Counting
Keywords on Web Pages |
Because of the current abusive use of keywords proliferating the web, the "keywords" and "descriptions"
HTML meta-tags have lost much of their usefulness. Different web search engines have different rules to sort their lists.
While we do not
know the specifics of these rules, one thing still seems to be very important:
the frequency of appearance of keywords on the webpage.
Are you concerned about your website's positioning on the search engines'
listings? Are you interested in why your top competitors' sites are positioned higher
than yours?
Polaris Word Count is written to count
keywords on Web pages and in files, including HTML files and other text files.
It can handle redirected pages.
